Buck Knives
Founded: 1902
Some products made in USA
Buck traces its history to Hoyt Buck, a young Kansas blacksmith who began experimenting with improved steel tempering in 1902. Today the family name remains one of the most recognizable in American cutlery, with substantial production based in Post Falls, Idaho. Buck combines the heritage of the traditional American working knife with modern manufacturing at a scale few domestic knife companies can match.
Product lineup
Buck produces folding pocket knives, hunting knives, fixed blades, everyday-carry folders and outdoor knives. For TDV, the focus should remain on specifically identified USA-made models, particularly the legendary 110 Folding Hunter and smaller American-made folders suitable for daily carry.
