Trust begins with saying exactly what we know.
TheDollarVote focuses on goods meaningfully manufactured in the United States and aims to represent domestic production accurately, including relevant caveats when known.
Products may contain imported materials or components. A product that is merely minimally assembled in the United States from overwhelmingly foreign components does not automatically qualify.
When the manufacturing picture is borderline or unclear, the product should be held for further review rather than presented with a stronger Made-in-USA claim than the available information supports.
TheDollarVote aims to accurately represent who makes a product, where it is manufactured, what the manufacturer says about domestic production, and relevant caveats when known.
For V1, a link to the manufacturer’s website is sufficient as the initial sourcing approach. A dedicated factual verification pass will allow source links, notes, status, and last-verified dates to be maintained internally.
TheDollarVote does not provide a legal Made-in-USA certification.

The link never decides the recommendation.
