Our mission

Where You Spend Matters.

TheDollarVote was created for people who want to support American manufacturing but find it unnecessarily difficult to identify worthwhile products genuinely made here.

About TheDollarVote

TheDollarVote is an independent publication and buying resource dedicated to American-made goods and the companies committed to making them here.

We focus on discovery, useful goods, durability, craftsmanship, and the people behind domestic production. Our goal is not to turn shopping into a lecture. It is to make buying American easier, more interesting, and more rewarding.

01

Buying American Should Be Easier

People who want to support American manufacturing should not need to spend hours comparing labels, manufacturing locations, sourcing claims, and company websites simply to find a worthwhile American alternative. TheDollarVote exists to make discovery easier through thoughtful curation and clear editorial context.

02

Every Purchase Is a Choice

Where we spend helps shape which companies, skills, workers, factories, and productive capabilities continue to have demand. TheDollarVote helps readers make that choice deliberately—without pressure, party politics, or empty slogans.

03

Support the People Who Still Make Things Here

We celebrate the manufacturers, craftspeople, factory workers, entrepreneurs, machinists, sewers, leatherworkers, toolmakers, and others who continue producing physical goods in the United States. Their work sustains knowledge, capability, and communities built around making useful things well.

Mission before monetization

Editorial inclusion is never for sale.

TheDollarVote may eventually earn revenue through affiliate commissions, direct company partnerships, and sponsorships. Those relationships will support the publication; they will not control it.

  • Companies are not ranked more favorably because they pay TheDollarVote.
  • Products do not receive better placement because an affiliate relationship exists.
  • Affiliate and ordinary manufacturer links receive identical visual treatment.
  • Commercial relationships do not determine editorial recommendations.
